area around Lake Eyasi, live the Hadzabe
(also known as Tindinga) people who have
been in-residence" for around 10,000 years.
Anthropologically, albeit distantly, related
to the San Bushmen of the Kalahari, the
Hadzabe possess a thrilling ‘click’ language
and the precise hunting skills of the bow and arrow
along with their food gathering traditions. |

close to Serengeti, Ngorongoro
Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai
Gorge, Tarangire National Park,
and Mount Kilimanjaro, as well
as having its own Arusha
National Park on Mount Meru.
International flights arrive at
Kilimanjaro International
Airport, and regional flights
use Arusha airport.

Lake Manyara: |
|
Depart early in the morning,
Game viewing with your expert
guide in Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara National Park is a
national park two hours west of
Arusha. The majority of the land
area of the park is a narrow
strip running between the
Gregory Rift wall to the west
and Lake Manyara, an alkaline or
soda-lake, to the east. It is
famous for its population of
flamingos.
Manyara is used as
an alternate or extension to
Ngorongoro, located just outside
the the conservation area gate.
Guests can sightsee in two
completely different temperate
zones only 90 minutes apart.
Park fees are less expensive
than Ngorongoro. From soaring
groundwater forests and a
tranquil lake, to the mountain
escarpment of the Great Rift
Valley, Lake Manyara National
Park boasts an incredible wealth
of habitats and diverse African

Day 3-5: |

Lake Eyasi: |
|
Interacting with indigenous
people of northern Tanzania is
unforgettable experience. Spend
your mornings and late
afternoons walking in the
African bush and your nights in
stylish, tented luxury camp.
Lake Eyasi, home to the
hunter-gathers ethnic group of
the Hadzabe Bushmen bearing
similar characteristics to those
of Bushmen at Southern Africa.
The small people of this indigenous tribe are probably
the last living in true harmony
with nature and have a wealth of
Fauna and Flora knowledge to
share with us. Around Lake Eyasi
you will also visit the remotely
living Datoga Tribe famous for
their day is filled with visits
and cultural encounters around
Lake Eyasi until you enjoy a
beautiful sunset at the banks of
Lake Eyasi. |

Day 6: |
|
Ngorongoro Crater: |
|
Leave very early in the
morning for game viewing in the
Ngorongoro crater with your
skilled guide. Includes national
park fees. Enjoy lunch
(included in tour
price). Descend into the
Ngorongoro caldera to
view the wildlife on the
crater floor. The
Ngorongoro Crater is
often called ‘Africa’s
Eden’ and the ‘8th
Natural Wonder of the
World.
A massive
extinct volcano, the
sheet walls drop
thousands of feet to a
Noah's Ark of animals
on the verdant floor
below. Large herds of
zebra, buffalo, antelope
and wildebeest graze
nearby while sleeping
lions laze in the sun.
At dawn, the endangered
black rhino returns to
the thick cover of the
crater forests after
grazing on dew-laden
grass in the morning
mist.
The world-famous
Ngorongoro Crater is at
the eastern edge of the
Serengeti in northern
Tanzania. Nearly three
million years old, the
ancient caldera of the
once-volcanic Ngorongoro
shelters one of the most
beautiful wildlife
havens on earth, ringed
with towering walls and
sheltering forests,
grasslands, fresh
springs and a large soda

Arusha and Beyond: |

breakfast, drive back to
Arusha for lunch and
Town Tour before
proceeding to
Kilimanjaro Airport for
your departure. |
