| Day 1: The Palacina | The Palacina is strategically placed right outside the bustling city of Nairobi, in Kenya, so that one may bask in the tranquil escape of the outskirts and still take advantage of the short trip into the heart of the city. With 14 rooms, the hotel offers extremely spacious, well-appointed suites and residences with loads of room to lounge and relax. Dining is a delightful experience, where tastefully prepared dishes are served with a side of live music to set the atmosphere of poise and enjoyment. Afternoon tea is anticipated by all, where one is served the delightful bits and pieces that make for good conversation and a light snack. Time may be spent at the fitness centre, or perhaps use the lounge to gather a group of friends for an evening. |

| Day 2/3: The Tortilis Camp | The Tortilis Camp, set up in the centre of Amboseli National Park, is an extraordinary model of the level of opulence that can be reached by camps. An award-winning ecotourism lodge, the Tortilis Camp is built of 17 tents structured on raised wooden platforms. Each is accompanied by private bathrooms with rich hot spring water flowing from the veins of the landscape. The views here are unsurpassed, with elephants and other wildlife passing en masse. The campsite makes for lively dining, as animals stroll past with Kilimanjaro rising in the background. Meals are fresh and succulent, with vegetables and herbs gathered from the camp’s garden. Besides interacting with the surroundings, there is a swimming pool and an abundance of tours and bush walks. |

| Day 4/5: Loisaba | Loisaba lies at the border of Laikipia and Kenya’s Northern Frontier District, not far from Mount Kenya. Its 14 rooms, divided by open-air bedrooms that rise high into the sky, a snug cottage and a house, could make one truly believe they’ve been written into a magical novel. 60 000 acres of private, untapped beauty and open land, inhabited by wildlife and all sorts of characters from a jungle book, contribute to the sheer beauty of this private escape. Local warriors guard the Star Beds and cook meals over an open fire, while other times traditional barbeque is prepared for a taste of the earth. Activities are endless, from game treks on foot to rock climbing, mountain biking, and river rafting. This is nature’s hiding place. Enjoy dinner (included in tour price). |

| Day 6/7: Olonana camp | Right on the banks of the Mara River, in the Masai Mara Reserve, sits the delightful Olonana Camp, where one may read, dine, and sleep with the lapping waters in their midst. The 12 permanent tents are gorgeous, with contemporary designs and subtle but elegant royal colors for décor, along with en suite bathrooms and spacious verandahs overlooking the river. One may savor the succulent pan-African and continental cuisine while watching the region’s animals make their way.
